About this piece
Chyawanprash is a traditional Ayurvedic preparation made with amla and a long list of herbs, a thick paste usually eaten by the spoonful. This Dabur version is made with gur (jaggery), and the seller says it has no added refined sugar.
The jar is 900 g with a cream coloured lid and a family on the front. The seller lists more than 40 herbs, including amla, giloy and pippali. The label gives the ingredient list and how to take it.
How it is used
Chyawanprash is usually taken by the spoonful, often with warm milk or water. Follow the label for the amount and timing.
