About this piece
A set of nine brass figures for the Navagraha, the nine planetary deities of Vedic astrology: Surya, Chandra, Mangala, Budha, Guru, Shukra, Shani, Rahu and Ketu, as the seller lists them. Each deity sits on its own vehicle with the name on the base, and the photos show them mounted on a black round stand.
The listing gives 7 cm in height and a weight of 2.5 kg. It does not say whether the stand is included, so check with the seller.
How it is used
A Navagraha set is traditionally placed together on an altar or shelf, and the nine are named in Navagraha puja. Many homes arrange them in a grid or a row.
