About this piece
This gift set combines three kinds of fragrance used in Indian homes: Adiyogi Sugandham incense sticks, sambrani cups and dasangam cups.
The seller describes the sambrani cups as a blended resin set in handmade cow dung cups, 12 pieces in the pack. The dasangam cups hold dhoop powder in cow dung cups, also 12 pieces. The seller says the cups are made by rural women artisans. The photo shows the two cup boxes and an incense pack with a lamp on a stone ledge.
How it is used
Sambrani and dasangam are traditional dhoop used in many homes during prayer and on festive days. The cups are lit and placed on a heat-proof stand or plate. Incense sticks go in a holder. Use in a ventilated room.
