About this piece

A Garbh Gauri rudraksha from Java in Indonesia: two beads that grew naturally joined, with one much smaller than the other. The photo shows two such pairs resting on pale stones against a purple cloth.

The seller gives the bead size as about 18 mm. The seller picks the bead sent from its stock.

How it is used

Rudraksha is worn on a cord or kept on a home altar. The seller gives a mantra on its page. It is a natural pair of joined beads, worshipped as Shiva and Parvati together, and it is not in the Shiva Purana's list of faced beads. It has no planet in our rudraksha guide.

Looking after it

  • Keep it dry, and wipe off perfume and oil with a soft cloth.
