About this piece
A Siddha mala combines rudraksha of 1 to 14 mukhi with a Gauri Shankar and a Ganesh bead, strung together mouth to mouth and tail to tail. makes this one in its Temple Design, in Java beads, and the listing is its smaller size.
The seller says it is strung in silk thread with a knot between every bead and woollen spacers around each one, in a light Kantha mala style, and finished with smooth five mukhi beads. The photos show the red spacers clearly.
How it is used
The seller says the Temple Design is made mainly for altar worship, to be placed on a puja altar or in a puja space, and may be worn for short periods during meditation or chanting. It says this style is not meant for continuous daily wear. The Shiva Purana gives each faced bead its own deity, and our rudraksha guide lists them.
