Sun Mahadasha Jupiter Antardasha is the fifth sub-period of the Sun Mahadasha and lasts about 9 months and 18 days. After the fast, fiery Mars period and the unsettled Rahu period, Jupiter usually brings a broader, steadier outlook.

People search for it hoping for a kinder stretch, and in many charts it does feel that way. Jupiter is the planet of wisdom, teachers, principles, children, wealth and good fortune.
