About this piece
A long rudraksha mala worn as a necklace, in two strands of large rudraksha beads divided by small gold-coloured caps, with three beads hanging in a drop at the front. The photos show a ridged, reddish-brown surface.
It is 39 inches (99 cm) long and weighs 200 g, so it is a substantial piece for wearing. The seller sells it as spiritual jewellery and does not give the bead count or mukhi.
How it is used
Rudraksha is traditionally linked with Shiva and worn as a necklace by many devotees. This long double-strand style is made for wearing rather than for counting japa. The Shiva Purana gives each faced bead its own deity, and our rudraksha guide lists them.
