Saturn-Sun is the fifth sub-period of the Saturn Mahadasha, lasting about 11 months. It follows the long Saturn-Venus stretch and leads into Saturn-Moon. In Indian mythology Surya and Shani are father and son with a famously difficult relationship, and in the natural friendship table the two are enemies in both directions.
